49 Days into the Survivors' Hunger Strike

Hunger Strikers at the Dail with signs saying Ireland's Shame and Hungerstrike Protest Survivors of Industrial and Reformatory Schools

It is now 49 days into a hunger strike by survivors of the industrial and reformatory schools outside the Dail. Maurice, Mariam, Mary and Mary need written communications for their very basic asks. They need access to HAA medical cards and a full state contributory pension.

People Before Profit TDs raised this in the Dail and again this week and will continue to do so. It is a grave situation, and the government must give immediate commitments in writing to resolve the situation immediately.
