People Before Profit encourages all workers and trade unionists to take Palestine solidarity action during the Irish Congress Day of action on Friday 28th November. Workers action in Ireland and across the world can bring down Israeli apartheid and help free Palestine.
Recently Italian workers showed the way forward by taking strike action and protesting the genocide. We need to urgently break ties with apartheid Israel. There can be no “business as usual” while Israel commits genocide. Across this island, workers should be empowered to act for Palestine, whether organising stand outs, walkouts, or refusing to handle and/or manufacture Israeli goods. The trade unions leaders, as well as ICTU, must be prepared to support and defend workers who act against the apartheid regime.
The Irish Congress of Trade Unions have called an important day of action on 28 November. This should be a major focus for all Palestine solidarity activists in workplaces and trade unions across the country. The organised working class is the force capable of breaking apartheid by refusing to handle Israeli goods and bringing workplaces to a halt.

If you are working remotely or cannot organise at your workplace, contact workers at your nearest health centre and ask if you can join their action in solidarity.
